Clunk At Rear Of Truck

I have a 2007 Sierra 1500 with a 4 speed auto. I've been noticing lately that when i'm slowing down to make a turn and then get back on the gas i hear a clunk from the back end somewhere.....I've had the slip yoke lubed about 3 months ago. Could it be something else or does the slip yoke need to be greased every month???

Seems to me it's the same. VERY common. I was able to get away with lubing the slip yoke about every 10,000 miles. Did you pack the spline with grease or use the latest method of putting oil on it which doesn't work?

Also, just to be safe, depending on mileage, it could be a u-joint starting to go bad. I'd check them
