2008 Gmc Sierra For Sale

Let's make a deal. I need to sell my 2008 GMC Sierra Crew Cab Z71, 4x4, 5.3L, 3.73, SLE1, cloth interior, approximately 80,000 miles (still used as my daily driver), all stock except for the tires. Tires are 285/70/17 Cooper STT with the majority of the tread left. I think they have less than 10k miles on them and have been rotated every 3k miles. I purchased the truck brand new in November 2007. This has been a good truck, and I would prefer not to get rid of it, but I really need a 4x4 Diesel and I am trying to reduce or eliminate debts and monthly payments so I can build a house. I would like to get $22,000 for the truck. Most of the trucks on the web this year and mileage are listed between $24,000 and $26,000. I'm not listing it at that price because I want to sell it and because it has been used as a truck. Make no mistake, this truck has worked as a truck...no sissy grocery getter here. That being said, the truck has not been abused. It has been serviced and maintained mechanically just as GM has recommended (oil changes, 60k services, etc). The truck hasn't been beat up or abused, but it has been used for pulling my boat, utility trailer, my lawn equipment, it's hauled building materials, and lots of tools. The truck just shows wear from being used like a truck should be used (minor scratches and dings), the interior's not perfect, but nothing is torn or falling apart. If I wasn't looking to get a bigger, less expensive truck, I would keep this one and use it just like I have been for many more years. I'll be happy to let anyone look at it, drive it, and I can answer any questions. I'm open to trades as well. If you have cash and an older model 3/4 or 1 ton diesel, lets talk.

Anyone interested at $20,000? From the other trucks I've looked at, I think this is a pretty good deal. Please tell me if I'm asking too much.

I think you are asking a lot with the 80,000 miles and prices on new trucks. There are brand new 2011 GMC Sierra SLE left overs on lots around here, most priced at $30,488. Dealers have lowered the prices trying to get rid of them to get more 2012's. Seems a little steep $24-$26,000 with those miles.

I don't know what a fair price is, but you may want to include your city/state. Check Edmunds and KBB for "private sale" pricing.

Seems like a fair price. I picked up my 2008 6.0 crew lt2 z71 4x2 with 70k miles for 18k out the door.
