Wireless Backup Camera

i ordered a wireless backup camera last week, and installed it over the weekend. the wireless transmitters are getting A LOT of static/interference everytime the truck is in motion or hits a bump. i tried moving the transmitters, securing them better, moving them as close as possible, but nothing helped.

i ordered the kit from www.camera-source.com

its their wireless CCD Camera kit, which is the same price as the wired kit, oddly enough. the camera shows a crystal clear image when completely still, just the wireless part isn't that great! the company was nice enough to send me the parts required to hard wire the camera to my nav unit, just for the price of shipping.

so their customer service lives up to their claim... just beware if your on the fence about a wireless backup camera as opposed to a wired kit.

Just out of curiosity, how does it work when you are backing up doing, say, < 5 mph. I would guess/expect that it would hold up in at least that situation since that is what it is designed for. Or is that not the case either?

not the case. i literally have be going <1mph, but one little bump and it flickers a bit. only time its clear is dead still i'm 99% positive both transmitters are not moving, just the slight "shock" that screws it up.
