Energy Suspension Body Mount Bushing

2000 1500, Z71, Ext Cab, 5.3

 

I recently purchese a body mount bushing kit from Energy Suspension, p/n 3.4150R

I attempted to install them last weekend and they didn't fit.

The frame bracket has a round hole. The bushing has an oval insert.

 

I called Energy Suspension's tech line, talked w/ Mike.

He said they've had issues like this before with 99-01 trucks, especially Canadian models, though I bought this new in AZ.

He couldn't remember the solution, and is doing a little research.

 

Anyone else come across this?

Don't know the answer to your problem but I can tell you this. I installed energy suspension body mount bushings on my 05 and they stayed on there ONE week. thing rode like a log wagon. never again.

yes be prepared for a much stiffer ride and for any and all panels and creaks and popping to appear...
