This is my first time here and i was just seeing what this is all about. Does anyone have a 2000 gmc sierra with the 4.8 liter? I do and a code came up for my knock sensor. I was just wondering where this is located on my engine and if its something i should worry about. If u could let me know id greatly appreciate it.

ive got a 2000 with the 4.8 the knock sensors are in the valley under the intake. quite a pain in the rear to get to. both my sensors have been out since 2009 and i still havent replaced them. it hasnt hurt anything and being as much trouble as it is i dont plan on it either lol

Lol thanks iv been trying to find the location of them for over a week now. Just glad to finally find out. Guess i wont have to worry as much anymore thanks
