travishale84 Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 so after my botched attempt with a cookie cutter tuner(their tech support for hypertech is very GOOD) i returned the tuner and have since ordered the BB AutoCal. I cant wait to get this tuner and get things rolling!!!
jdubub Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 sweet. I have the autocal and currently just waiting to receive my tune and get it programmed to the truck! I had a BB tune in my 08,you will be nothing but impressed!
travishale84 Posted November 3, 2011 Author Posted November 3, 2011 thats what i have been waiting to hear! i cant wait, how long does it take for them to ship the tuner, and how long does it take to get your tunes sent back to you? i have never hated a Chevy symbol as much as i do when i look at your avatar pic...
jdubub Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 . Shipping the autocal itself can take anywhere from 3-5 business days from what I can remember . The tunes themselves Im not too sure on yet, as i'm waiting on mine . But rest assured Justin is on top of it and is damn good with the tunes, they are just sometimes too damn busy but It doesnt bother me. Hell i'm glad they are swamped, it means they are good and it sure beats the alternative

Hell i'm glad they are swamped, it means they are good and it sure beats the alternative haha, you better believe it beats the alternative... made that mistake 3 times (SHAME ON ME) on 3 different trucks. the 3rd one was bad with spark knocking on regular tuning. so i said bag this, for another 170 i can have a REAL tune. however i ordered from them 24 hours ago, no confirmation, and i emailed BB 48 hours ago without a response. so yes they must be busy! which is definately a very good thing. im just hoping to clean up the way my transmission acts and get some more HP, and better fuel mileage. I drove a 2011 F.O.R.D.... with a 5.0L and i hate to say it but that 5.0 would wax my dads 09 6.0...
travishale84 Posted November 4, 2011 Author Posted November 4, 2011 BB is not responding because they are at SEMA... kind of like when i ordered my dual exhaust and had to wait a month for it because they only ship 2 times a month I will just enjoy the tune that much more.
jdubub Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 AHA! thats why I haven't heard back as well. I have no worries on it but was thinking this was taking a little longer than last time. But I have ordered from them before and met Justin in person, they are just busy. I agree 100%. Can't wait. Any idea when SEMA is over? As far as cleaning up the transmission- It will make you fall in love how it will act after the tune HP and mileage- it's all relative, but you will see an increase in HP, mileage you MIGHT see a change if you can keep your foot out of it
travishale84 Posted November 4, 2011 Author Posted November 4, 2011 i have no clue when its done, on SEMA show's website it looks like the latest date i can find is 11/1/11. i know what you mean about MPG. thats all relative to how much you are mashing the gas. i just want the transmission to feel more like my 04 5.3 when it was somewhat instant throttle response
Jennabear Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 We returned from SEMA last night. Playing catch up now!
