What to check on a new truck?

Just bought a new 2011 Sierra, first new truck I've ever bought. I'm wondering if there's anything I should do/check now while it's new to make things easier in the long run.

 

Only thing that's come to mind to check the spare and it's associated hardware and maybe put some anti-seize on it to make sure in a few years I'll be able to get everything undone on the side of the road if I need to.

 

Can anyone think of anything else?

Make sure to break in the engine properly . just like you would do with any new engine . Dirt bikes, atvs, trucks . It will play a big part in your vehicle . Should be on your owners manual about it .
