ENGINE RATTLE ON ACCEL

How's it going guys, Name's Joell and I'm new to the forum. Anyway, I have recently purchased a 99' Chevy S/10 Blazer w/ a 4.3, 4x4 w/ 170xxx on it, and have encountered an engine rattle at all phases of acceleration (only acceleration, no noise at idle). I have done some researching and found the "rattle" TSB for this vehicle. This is my concern, I am not in fact sure the this is what is creating the noise, I have pulled the valve covers off to verify if it isn't just worn valve train parts. So far, in doing so, I have noticed a slight slight side to side play on the valve side of the rocker. That is, when #1 Cylinder TDC, Then made a full revolution, and checked the other rockers, slight slight play up and down, but slight side to side play. I had heard that there can be some play on the 8mm ball that the rocker pivots on and was looking for that play, so far, it looks like there isn't enough play to cause that bad rattle.

Also, I'm changing my timing chain and gears as a precautionary step, and am going to install the tensioner kit that is called for in the above TSB. My questions are, I wanted to know if there is anywhere else I can get the TSB tensioner kit, I dont want to pay the $200 dollars from the dealer. And the second question is, what is the exact procedure for adjusting the valves on this motor, I know that there is non adjustable valves, but i want the procedure to just no what rockers should be loose, and what should be tight (by loose, I mean slight play).
