dual Intake on ebay ...Twin 3" tubes

Have you guys seen or ever used on of these intakes, i saw it on ebay the item num is

220889922022 Its less money the most of the other intakes out there even after you buy the 2 filters. Seems like it would flow/work really good. Thinking about trying it just to have something different.

Dont really see the point, other than for looks. You're just trading a larger tube and filter for two smaller filters and tubes. Maybe if it had 1 tube at the fender and another routed somewhere else.

Yeah def a no on that one sorry. I have an cai but I can def say don't bother on that. And yes it would be better if the pipes were split one on each side then, meet in the middle.

I don't see any advantage really... Maybe if you're lucky it'll suck in a little more dust and hot air

I was just saying 'IT' compared to all the other intakes on the market it might flow the sam or slightly better.

CFM wise i think 2- 3" tubes would bring in more air then 1- 4" tube.

It just looked cool and was something different then your everyday aftermarket intake.

Some guys say the CAI does nothing and others love them. Im on the side of the fence that they do work..

Of course theres no huge hp gain..but if thats what your looking for then you would be disapointed..

But anyone whos actually know the mechanicals and how and engine works.. A correctly installed exhaust and god qaulity intake definitly helps a vehicle breathe better and bring more air in and help in out more efficintly!

My biggest question was why the sqaure or box at the throttle body VS a 90 degree/elbow

And as far as waisting money..this intake was only $75 and the filters i found for 38 each,So id be less than 150 total. Any decent aftermarket intake ive seen or purchased over the years is/was always $250+

I wish they had some cfm/airflow and,or performance data.

Im half tempted to do a dyno before and after at a guys shop i know.

You will not get that for $75.

 

 

There is no way any even a mildly built motor would ever use/need that much air. It is a waste.
