I need help with a serious problem

I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado 5.3 with 121,786 miles on it.Now the long and short of the problem I am having is the battery went dead and now it won't start.I can hear the fuel pump running it has a 1/2 of a tank of gas and the battery tested good and has a full charge the door locks quit working the power windows quit working .Now what I have tried so far is take the battery cables off and hold them together for 30 seconds to reset the computer but to no avail checked all the fuses and relays .Does anyone have any suggestions I am out of ideas and almost at the end of my rope.

hold the battery cables together I am almost sure that wont do anything . It should just reset when you take the black one off .

sounds like time for a fuel pump replacement :M16:

he still should have his windows and stuff like that if it was a fuel pump prob i think .

take the battery cables off and clean both the cable ends and the terminals with a wire brush. Then reassemble and give it a try, I'm betting on a bad/ weak/ dirty connection
