I saw this old thread while searching for white GMC Sierra's with chrome wheels and mirrors and clicked on a truck and it brought me here to this forum. I upon looking at the truck of silveradolt18, sort of changed my mind from a black truck to a white one. I must say that it depends on which one I find first thats loaded and the deal I'm looking for as far as which one I will get.

I sent him a pm but don't know rather or not he doesn't get on here anymore. I wanted to ask him about the tires he has on the rear of the truck and if he had any pics of it from a front and rear view. Also some info i wanted to know about having to make adjustments to the fenderwells and such. I also love the wheels he has. I must have 20 inch wheels in either that style on his truck or the 6 spoke type. Wil post images of both.

Also the truck must have leather, and some chrome accessories will be a plus as I will add them later if it doesnt come with much chrome, i.e door handles, tow hooks, tailgate latch, mirrors

285/55/r20 tires

I liked this truck and used it as a benchmark myself. Here are some pics of my truck with the same tires:

can you do me a favor and measure from the ground to the tip of your antenna? I am getting a metal garage coming to be setup next wed feb 8 and i want to be sure the truck will fit under.

also, did you have to do any mods with the fenderwell to prevent rubbing? Are the rear wheels sticking out more than with the stock tires/rims?

Top of the antenna is 7', on the money.

I have not modified the wheel wells at all and the rear wheels are even with the front.

how much did you lift the truck? You did buy a lift kit right? Did you want the truck higher or lower? I would think most would think the truck was too high and would want it lowered just a tad maybe.

also, with the stock 20's and the 275 55 20's, would going to the same tires you have bring them out to the fenderwell or is the rim depth needed to actually bring it out some?

Here is my 2011 with 285/55/20 bfg a/t on stcok 20's. I only have a rc 2" level kit on it.

Nice truck, do you have any side views. I am new to the truck lift thing so when you guys are saying 2 " lift, I assume you mean actually pickup the truck up?

I ask because seems like those trucks are already sitting up high and maybe most would want to lower the back to level it with the front I would think. I would not lift my truck, but level it at least. I would love to see side views of the truck if you have them. If you can post one or two please. Thanks

Yes I can take some pictures tomorrow. I put a spacer between the strut and lower control arm so yes I lifted the front to level it. You could just take the rear block out and it will lower the rear 1.25" that way it will still have some rake if you tow/haul with it. When you say side view what do you mean like from front?

yeah front and rear view if you can. Give me an idea how far it sticks out. Mainly want to see if with just going up from 275 to 285 will make it stick out that much more?

I know i want be changing tires till i need some though lol. I do like how those tires appear to look on all of the images I have seen so far though.
