07 new style tranny prob

truck is a sierra 1500 with a 5.3. has 185k on it. when you creep at a stop sign and want to go, the speedo will stay at 0 and the truck will not shift. when you come to a complete stop and go again it is fine. is the tranny becoming junk or is there some relay or actuator that may be bad? no service engine light. thanks for any help. brian

are you saying it doesnt go to 1st gear ?

sorry. the truck will go into first but will not shift into second. sometimes if i pull the lever down and manually shift to second it will go. the problem doesn't happen all the time, probably once a day though.

sounds alittle funny cuz the truck is shifted by a computor

 

idk,still makes no sence ,,clean the MAF with sensor safe spray and a Q tip,get behind the little sensors with the q tip if you find long ones and break it on a 45deg angle to get behind them ,,GENTLY

 

ive seen these trucks shift like crap with an intermittant p0101

there is no trouble light on. hasn't been to a garage yet. so is it more of a computer problem then?
