Yet another oil filter question

I highly doubt it as long as the oil meets GM requirements, which I'm pretty sure Mobil 1 does. The K&N filter is the same as a Mobil filter IIRC, just has the nut welded on top so you can get it off easier.

No,the oil is now dexos approved,and there is nothing which specifies which oil filter you have to use.

The AC Delco filter is actually one of the best you can get, you can also get Wix filters from O'reiily's which are great too. You will hear a lot of people say it sucks because it has no anti drainback valve, but I disagree. Why do you need an anti drainback valve for a filter that is not mounted upside down?
