I would have to agree with the previous post to start by checking the coolant level. What year is the vehicle? I can also look into this for you with the last eight of your VIN. Feel free to contact me directly.

I've already changed thermostat and bled the system of air...and at that point it had great heat ...but now it overheats still and has mo cabin heat.... It over heated twice on a trip but bout 10 min from being home the temp stayed below half and cabin heat worked fine.....it a 2003 model
