Can't Get My 2005 Suburban To Relearn TPM

Hello all. I just rotated my tires, and was trying to relearn the tires positions with the TPM. It is showing up on the DIC, but they are not the correct tires obviously. I tried the relearn process from the manual and cannot get it to work. It says to switch exterior lights from off to on 4 times. Well I really do not have an off, as I have an Auto setting. I cannot get the horn to chrip. I have gotten it to work before, (did'nt have the TPM valves in though see link) http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=102691&hl=%2B2005+%2Bsuburban+%2Btpm+%2Breset&fromsearch=1 What the heck am I doing wrong? Thanks.

On some of the earlier GMs you had to turn on the key, set the parking brake and then cycle the headlight switch from off (auto) to the parking light position 4 times. Check your owners manual again and follow it exactly and in the order stated.

yep. my wifes 05 yukon's manual says: set parking brake, turn key to on/run with engine off, cycle headlight switch 4times within 3 seconds and the horn will beep. I tried it and it worked. The headlights are auto so you are cycling it from the far left position to the far right position.

I still cannot get this to work. What am i doing wrong? I have noticed my brake light does not come on when I push the parking brake, yet it does come on when I go to on/run for a second. Could this be the issue?
