I was wondering if anyone has any performance #'s from a dyno on the Paxton Novi 1200 or Whipple charger for the 8.1L.

I haven't seen Paxton's yet, but two people on this board have Whipple's on their 8.1's.  Gandolph has one on his Avalanche and Tom Byrne (TByrne Motorsports...a sponsor) has one on his Suburban.

 

Both got great gains and I believe Tom has posted 1/4 mile time improvements with it.  There is a thread here in the HD section somewhere.  I'm sure Gandolph has tracked his too, but I don't know where he's posted times.

 

Another option out there is Kenne Bell.  They now have a unit for 8.1's but I'm not sold on them yet as they claim that their rotor allows them not to need an intercooler.  I don't buy that.
