How much are people paying for there 2012 2500 HD's?

A buddy of mine is looking to purchase a 2012 2500 HD extended or crew cab with a plow. All the dealers he has been to haven't taken more than a few grand off sticker price. GM's only incentives right now are 0% financing for 72 months. Im thinking this summer will bring higher gas prices and lower truck sales I.E. better incentives....

Anyways, What kind of deals are people getting on their 2500hd's?

And thanks in advance!

A local Chevy dealer here in Syracuse NY has a new 2012 x-cab 2500.

WT, trailer tow, locker, plow prep etc

msrp $36,145 minus the $2000 rebate etc.........

$31,995 plus tax and tag.

So the dealer is only taking off only $2150 off msrp here...............

I gotta check the GM employee site and see how much less it would be.

Edit: The GM employee deaL is $31,985 minus the $2000 rebate.

So a employee would pay $29,985

I see GM in my area has a additional $1000 trade in bonus if you have any 99 and up vehicle.

I was looking at leftover 2011's in January and February. Two dealers had $43K crew cabs for around $35K-$36K, but I was looking to trade my truck in. One offered the lowest trade-in amount from Kelley Blue Book and one offered $3K less than that. None of the other dealers in my area seemed to want to make a sale. When I looked at 2012's, they wouldn't even knock $2K off the sticker before rebates.

I just bought (in late April) a 2012 Silverado 2500HD LTZ 4x4 extended cab regular bed.. The sticker was $49,700. I got it for invoice price (about $44k). I also got $2000 off from GM that they were offering in March and April. In addition, I got $1000 more from GM because I traded in a vehicle (on top of my trade in value). And I got a $1000 "Special Offer" from the Chevrolet website. So I got it for invoice (about $44k) minus $4000 for the incentives I mentioned. So, I got it for essentially $40k.

I don't know if there still doing this but if you belong to a credit union. You can get employee pricing. It cost me 5$ to open an account with a credit union to save about $9k with rebates. No 0% with this offer tho.

Hi all, new here. I'm feeling pretty good about $10600 off MSRP (54725), plus clear bra on front surfaces, first full tank (36 gals), and 3 oil changes! Pick it up tomorrow!

be sure to read the fine print on those "free" oil changes. they tried pulling free oil changes for life on me, i told them i didn't want it, and they said well we'll give it to you anyway. the d-bag changed the interest rate and added the cost of the lifetime oil changes to keep the monthly payments the same. luckily i caught it and made him take it off.

You guys are spoiled in the states LOL. you can't barely get a Diesel work truck up here for under $50k LOL. My ol man just picked up 2012 ford power stroke, XLT with one electric seat, box liner and mudflaps. Pretty plain Jane truck. Cloth seats and rubber floor. He is a suncor employee, and on a thing called x-plan. Combined he got $10k off sticker price still paid $53 000, I priced out 2012 diesel Denali for fun one day. Taxes in was almost $85k LOL. What a joke in Canada.

A friend of mine just bought a 2012 crew cab duramax for $42,500. Dealership knocked 8K right off the sticker. I can't find used LMMs for that price.

No way that's in Canada. Plain Jane 2012 lml go for like 60k...any major purchase in Canada is more expensive. Sleds, boats, quads dirt bikes. Everything is always thousands cheaper across the border. We get bent over.
