I am wanting to remove the z71 4x4 stickers off of the bed and was wondering if it would be noticeable where the decals were and if so could it be buffed or anything to match. I've already de-badged the doors and tailgate a year ago with no problems. The truck is an 08 sierra silver in color.

a hairdryer will help melt the glue, making them easier to remove.

then soap and water to wash the residue that you can. the rest will come off with "goo gone" or something similar.

A heat gun, or hair dryer if you don't have a heat gun is the easiest way to remove them. Your paint should be fine under there, though I have seen some trucks where there is an obvious difference after removal. My 2001 Silverado was very noticable after removing them, probably because the paint was weathered? I had to buy new ones and put them back on.

X2 on the heat gun. Then use dental floss to get under it.

Goo gone will work, 3M adhesive remover works really well also. If you go the 3M route, make sure to wash the area well with soap and water afterwards.
