Anyone have the motion sensor option on the alarm?

In a moment of weakness I added one last option to my truck - the motion sensor module for the alarm. Just jacked my truck up last week to install splash guards and guess what - no alarm! Anyone have this and does it work?

I had it on my 2009 (I added it) and it worked at least once. I had the truck locked with the FOB or the delay lock from the door switch (I don't remember how I locked the door, it was more of an accident) so the internal security system WAS activated. I had the drivers window down and keys ended upinthe front seat. Decided to jack the rear end up (well, more like one side) to look for a rattle. Got it about high enough for my jack stands and the horn started going off.

1. I did not realize I had locked the dang thing and activated the security

2. Looked all over for the keys, finally grabbed the spare set

3. Luckily I have understanding neighbors, they had a good laugh....

Once I hit the FOB to unlock/deactivate the horn stopped.

Like I said, this was a 2009 so not sure if it is the same for your new go-buggy or not....

I parked on some fairly steep hills, truck sat through some fairly intense storms, etc and the alarm never went off. IIRC, the 'sensor' module was axis dependant, in other words it was more sensitive in one direction more than the other. The instructions covered that I remember. Wish I had kept a copy or copied them in here...
