I'd also suggest Fluid Film. I get a few cans every year and spray the underside of the truck which seems to have kept it rust-free.

Seeing as you live in Ontario like myself, if there is an "Innovative Coating Inc" in your area you can buy in small quantities the exact same waxy black coating that GM put on the frame and just touch it up once in a while using a brush.

Woah, that would take me 5 hours to get there!

Krown and Metropolitan rust proofing. But turns out Metropolitan rust proofing in on Merivale south of West Hunt Club.

 

I have not used either one so I can not comment on either. Krown has a lot of locations throughout Ottawa though.

I dont have any helpful info on this oil undercoating issue except I think its a great idea. As long as the issue is chassis care; is spraying oil onto rubber parts such as control arm bushings and the like detrimental to their life? I feel like it may attract dust and dirt and contribute to the wear.
