Looking at affordable cruzers - Suzuki or Yamaha

I've been "looking" at cruzers and I've narrowed it down to the following:

 

 

Suzuki Boulvard 50 (800cc)

or

Yamaha V Star 950 (950cc)

 

Would love to hear from members that currently have or have ridden each in terms of relibility, cost of maintenance, etc.. I'm looking at the 2010-2012 models.

Well I ride an FJR so afraid I am not much help there. However I have known people that have owned both and liked them very much with no major issues. Test ride them both if you can and depending on which one you like best and or the deal you can get, go from there. I wish you luck and many safe riding miles. Let us know what you decide and why.
