My truck goes in to 4 wheel parts on Thursday. 1207 out the door for 4.56 gears (4 wheel drive).

If they are in houston give them a shot

That is G2 gears master overhaul and labor

Beware of 4wp. I'm sure Houston has plenty of great shops, so call around. $ 1200 is a heck of a price!

I think I was quoted $1600 for G2's and installation out the door at the Nashville 4 Wheel Parts. Not 100% sure, but I think so.

Price is with 200 military discount. We also support there support the troops program here with static military truck displays. So yes you can say I got a deal and I hope they don't screw up the relationship with poor work on my truck. Most times the business reputation relies on the techs they have working so it is hit or miss as with anywhere else.

I have read the corporate issues but I do not think I will have that problem.

In Houston contact Charlie @ Wheatley Tuning. He has a guy he refers all the race trucks to that does great work for a good price, then you can also have Charlie tune your truck to fix your speedometer/ shift points after the gear swap.

That's about what I paid for my 4.88 G2s here in Beaumont. Prices do vary from region to region, so that doesn't seem too far off what others pay around here. I just wouldn't use 4wp if I could help it. You may not have any issues, but there are way too many bad reports for me to give them my business.

I just made the appointment on Monday to regear my truck so hopefully it turns out well. I winded up getting done for 1600 so its not to bad of a price. I did see in other forums that ppl had trouble with warning lights coming on and off after regearing higher than a 4.10. Am I gunna see that problem too? Any others have had that kind of trouble?
