Truck jerks when breaking

I have a friend that has 2008 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT with a 5.3L, 2 WD and 73,000 miles.

 

The issue he is having is when he brakes the truck jerks and it sometimes it feels like it is sliping or skips. it does not jerk in a certain direction. he said that it only happens like every 5th time he hits the brakes.

 

i was wondering if anybody else has had this problem.

Maybe an ABS issues since it only does it sometimes?

Could be beat or warp rotors,pull your tires and see what going on.

Possibly anti-lock activation at slow speeds, typically between 5 and 10 mph, as the brakes are applied and the truck is slowing to a stop? Numerous posts on how to test and clean the front WSS (wheel speed sensors). I know it was a problem on the 800's, don't know if it was a common occurence on the 900's.
