If it's still a running or runable engine, sell it. Be surprised what someone might want to buy. If you're going to scrap it anyway price it low just to make sure it leaves. If the block is cracked I'd just give it burial in the scrap yard and call it a day.

 

I don't really know if they are worth anything so I could be way off on this. Did this engine come out of the '66?

It depends on which one it is. Are the spark plugs in the top of the head near the intake? If so that could be from 62 to 66 truck motor. We had a 2 ton crew cab that had the 304 with a 4 speed to haul our race car on back in the early 80's. We made the trip from Phoenix to CA once a month and never had any problems with the motor.:jester:
