Problem with clockspring swap

Upgrading to UK3 but everything is going smooth until now. I have 1 extra plug. I went through and everytime I unplugged one from the old one, I would put the corresponding new plug in it's place. So where does this extra black 16 pin (2 rows of 8) go.

What has been added? I assume steering wheel controls? If I had to guess you'd likely have the following

Harness for the airbag (usually with yellow connecters/wrap)

Harness for the horn

Harness for the DIC buttons

Harness for the radio controls

Bear in mind this is all speculation on my part but I'm guessing the column harness you used is wired for a feature the truck does not have like the DIC?

I am adding DIC and Steering wheel controls.

wonder if it was part of an immobilizer module from a remote start system? If no one chimes in tonight i will pop the covers off my wifes denali and see if i can find that plug, but there should be strait forward. you should have your switch module connections, gear position harness, inginition (i know that is no way an ignistion plug) and and clock spring conections

I did a little more reading, I was posting with my laptop in the truck. I think this is for Quadrasteer.

If you want to take a lot it was taped up to the harness around the knee bolster area. There is a metal shield covering it

Yes I am aware it posted twice, I was outside when using my laptop and it was going slow and not doing anything so I hit the button again
