'04 Tahoe TPMS issues

Hey guys I just put new tires and sensors on my Tahoe at Costco. They did the proper relearning with their tool and all my lights and warnings went away and everything was working after about 30 miles my freakin "service tire monitor" message popped up on the DIC. I've had this message since I bought the thing back in Nov. of 2011. I assumed it would go away after replacing the original sensors. Any thoughts? Is it something else besides the actual sensors?

tire pressures maybe just a thought,,

 

check owners manual on how to take care of it yourself.

Well im not assuming sensors but the from what i've read thats the issue. if it was low tire pressure it should say check tire pressure.

Any trouble codes? There's not much to the system besides the sensors, passengers door module and the light in the instrument cluster. And the wiring of course....

No trouble codes. Just says "service tire monitor" on the DIC. new sensors all learned to the system.

Just had the same issue and at costco too. Bring it back to them and they will fix it. They did for me and all is good now.

I had an 04 Tahoe that had the same issue, I just ignored it (being I check my tire pressure every 3 months and adjust it), I do not believe it throws a DTC code like the 2007 and up do.
