OIL PRESURE ON 2009 5.3 ENGINES....

Hey guys, I was wondering what kind of oil pressure readings y’all are getting at idle and at hwy speeds (say 70 MPH or so) with your 2009 5.3 engines. Thanks for posting and helping me out.

I know it isn't a 2009 but my 2002 is showing 65psi at highway speeds.

As of right now my 09 5.3 has 23000 on the clock and 44% oil life left. I was getting just under 40 psi at idle in gear and around 60 psi on the highway at 75mph. Hope that helps.

For lack of 2009ers, my '06 also displays just a little under 40 psi at idle, little above cruising (55ish mph), and around 60-65psi on highway (70+ mph). Used to always stay at 40 most of the time except hard accel but age/mileage finally caught up and now it fluctuates a lot more.
