Official Testimonial Thread

Recently, General Motors has been monitoring this forum more closely. We have an official GM customer service rep on the site, and just last week two gm-trucks.com members had their testimonials included in GMC The Magazine.

 

The idea for this thread is for us to post our testimonials (good/bad/neutral). I will make the editors aware of this thread, with the hopes that more of our members testimonials will be used in General Motors publications.

 

Please use this thread ONLY to post your testimonial. Keep them concise, and who knows, they just might make it into print!

Not only do I love my 2 current gm vehicles (silverado and camaro) but so does my 3 yr old son. They do everything we could possible need or want to do at this time.

 

The 6.2L Engine is by far the best engine out there.

I would LOVE to write a testimonial!! My '12 Chevy Tahoe is my first Chevy. Let me tell you a little story. I traded in my '06 Tundra on an '11 Toyota 4Runner Trail Edition. I owned it for 6 months, and hated it! It was so uncomfortable!! For a V6 with an "econo" mode, it got abysmal gas mileage. It was too small for me. I remember thinking that I didn't want to drive it the 30 mins. I had to drive to go to work, and I said it had to go!! I also had been planning on moving across the country, and there was NO way I could have driven that 4Runner! I drove by a Chevy dealer on my way to work, so I thought I would drop in. I went in on a Fri. night, after work. I told the sale man what I wanted. He said he would call me on Sat. am. He did, I went to the the dealership (Terryville Chevy, in Terryville, CT. My salesman was Shawn Stakeweitz.) and drove home in my dream truck!! I LOVE my '12 Tahoe. It is a 4x4 LT, with the Luxury package. This truck is an absolute pleasure to drive!! It was incredible to drive across the country from CT. to WA., and I was towing an 6x12 trailer, which the Tahoe towed with aplomb!! The Onstar was an invaluable tool for me and my dog as I drove across the country. I can not say enough wonderful things about my buying & ownership experience of my Tahoe!! Yes, I would buy another Tahoe in a heart beat!! Thank you Chevy for making such an incredible truck!!
