07 Avalanche with LC9 engine (eighth vin digit is 3)

My truck has 300,000kms on it and just had the head gasket go. Was wondering if a 2010 Silverado LC9 engine will work in an 2007 Avalanche?

 

My 2007 has the DOD and FFV but as far as I can tell so does the 2010 Silverado motor... is there different versions of LC9 from 07 to 10?

LC9 is LC9. Both Gen IV engines. It will bolt right in
