1/4 mile time for 6.2 1500 Silverado?

I ran a search but did not see a 1/4 mile time listed for a stock 6.2 1500 Silverado.

Will one hang with a 5.0 F150 Ford? I found a 1/4 mile time of 14.9. I know the 5.3 won't run with one but will the 6.2?

This with minor work on an Escalade. I've heard 14.5-14.6 in most cases.

Edit: Found this also:

With only a 15.52 1/4 et I better watch out for those 5.0 Fords! My son has a 2012 5.0 Ford truck and I was wondering how my 2013 6.2 would hold up against his. Looks like my 6.2 would need mods to beat that little 5.0!

His is a crew cab and mine an extended cab. Don't know the weight difference.

CC 6.2's should run in the mid 14's, tunes and some boltons drop them in the high 13's.

Hook up a 10000lbs trailer to each truck and you'll see which one is better.

And if you wanna race go get a Corvette or something like that what is designed for race.

So my stock 6.2 extended cab should run 14s! That's more like it.

I have one of those but like all vehicles. Vettepicscj079.jpg

Now you have a hot 6.2! Want to race a stock heads/cam Corvette?

Only if you put 3000 pounds in the back of it. :) I guess we could race heads up- on snow. ;)

It would be fun just to get a gauge on where I'm at.

Not fair, I only need 1578# to equal your hp/wt ratio. I'll have to find a 1578# block of lead!
