had hids in my last truck and kind butched them together in the h11 low beam and 5202 fogs. now i have a brand new truck and dont want to butcher them so much. want a cleaner safer plug in installation.is there specific harnesses you guys are using for a easy plug in installation. i dont like the fact of jamming those little spade connnectors in my factory harness. pictures will be the best with your answers.

AND yes i read all topics about hids and didnt find much. hence why i am asking.

thanks in advance guys

I've installed 6000K 55watt in both my low and high beams. I installed 6000K 35watt in my fog lights. All of these are plug and play. I got them from DDMtuning, had them for about three years now and not a single problem with them.

nnbs? and did you use a relay harness? so u only needed to hook up to one side of your factory truck harness? and i am in canada, ddm tuning i think would be expensive to get here.

No HID's are truly "plug and play" in housings designed for halogen bulbs. HID's are designed to be used in a specifically designed projector assembly.

I'm in Canada as well and I get mine from a local tuner shop (specialists in imports). THey can get me everything I need for any make and model. I installed my 2010 with H11s and they gave me a special adapter for the H11s free of charge. Yes, you will need a relay kit as well for both the fogs and lows about $10-15 per pop. The cost of the non digital kits was about $85 each. Shop around they are all over Canada.

Do you happen to have a picture of that special connector ? And did it plug right in to the factory plug? Seems like a pretty funny looking connector coming from the truck itself.

I didn't run any relay system on my last truck, but thinking I will on this 1. Helps with draw, and flicker I've heard. Seems like the proper way todo things.

So basically all I need is a plug for my factory h11 and a plug for my factory 5202. Anyone have any information on those specific plugs ?

I'm Currently in Europe for business so cannot get to take a picture, but, basically it was two pigtails with the proper connectors at each end for the H11 bulb to the stock connector (balast line). I don't have fogs so do not know about those connections. I used my old 9006 kit from my Astro and moved the balast and just bought new bulbs and relays. It is all wired in under the cover in front of the rad using wire looms so even when i get home pics would be difficult but if I go the the shop I may get you a pic or let you know if thye have the proper kit with H11 and 5202 connectors. BTW anyone I know here was the fogs done can only use them as additional high beams as they are too bright to use as fogs with no cutoff mechasism and the TO police WILL charge you.

Understand about the police and the glare fog lights cause. I only use then as high beam. I'm having a hard time tracking down such pigtails for h11. Anyone know where I can get them? In Canada. I can't even find a picture to have to I can send it to my hid shop and tell them what I need.
