Anyone get the new simcity yet?

 

Thinking about getting it that is if the system requirements don't kill my laptop.

Yea I got it. Its pretty awesome, when the servers work. :/

 

The DRM in the game is absolutely ridiculous. $60-80 and cant even log on to play!!

 

Its no wonder people are furious at EA

bought it. its fun, i have been playing on a European server so far because the NA servers are totally screwy. I was hoping for more advanced level city planning however. I need more play time to make a better evaluation

Yea EA is probably the most hated company in the gaming industry right now. IMO they did it to themselves.

I would love to get the game but I do not have the money and do not have the computer to run the game .

Oh well maybe in the next year I will be able to get a computer to run the game.

How is it? Really don't like that you have connect to an online server and from what gameplay I've seen you can't build realist cities.

Its OK. Not to be played while on glaucoma medicine. Too much happens at once. You have to plan ahead with roads. I started a game and just set to private.
