paint help for handle

im trying to finish my tailgate handle paint project and its driving me up the wall. i have sanded, primed, and painted the handle with GM summit white paint. when i spray the clear on ( dulpicolor acrylic enamal) it dries almost with a yellowish tint or pearl white color. before the clear goes on though the paint looks great, bright white, but after clear coat, not so great. any sugestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks

You try a very fine grit on the clear then a light spray after that?

Try another manufacturer of clear coat?

Yes I wet sanded with 600 grit. And I tried two different brand clears. Both enamels. Should I try the lacquer clear? I Don't know the difference.. I have the handle one the truck right now and it looks great. Just needs a little more "shine"
