Im looking to put some 20 inch wheels on my 2012 Sierra CC. I have chosen to purchase some chrome eagle alloy 050 with cooper discover ht plus in a 275 60 20. Does anyone think I will have any trouble with clearance issues with this set up? I will be adding a rc 2 inch level and the rims have a +25 mm offset. I really dont want any rubbing what so ever. Would I be better off with a different offset or maybe a 275 55 20? I do not want the tires to stick outof the wheel well, would like them flush with the fenders. Just looking for a little guidance as I have never run aftermarket rims before and want to makea good decision the first time. Any help is appreciated.

I have the tires you want in a 275/55R20. Unless you have a leveling kit the 275/60R20 will rub. Its just too tall for stock height. I run the 55 with a level and a +22 offset. The width of the 275 looks perfect in my fender but I have an 04.

I was concerned that going to a 9 inch wheel and a 25 mm offset may cause the tires to stick out from the past the fenders? I will be adding a 2 inch level to accomadate the 33 inch tire. My only hestitation was when I went to order the leveling kit the parts guy figured that size of tire would be to big. I was reassured when ordering these rims and tires that a 275 60 20 would fit with a 2 inch level and that the 20×9 rim with the 25mm offset would sit under the truck fairly close to stock

My wheels are 8.5" but we also have 2 different suspension types. Mine are 20x8.5 with a +22 offset on 275/55R20. The only change I would make is to go to a 305/50R20. If it rubs on the front stagger to the 305 on the rear 275 up front. But you should be fine. That's the tire I originally looked at and they test fitted for me

Thats good to hear. I appreciate everyones replies, it can be a little intimidating buying aftermarket rims when you dont really understood how the offset and back spacing all comes into play. I just wanted to make sure I was going to get the fit/look I wanted with out any tire rub. I still may decide to put the 275 55 20 on instead of the 275 60. Is there any advantage to a higher sidewall or is it just personal preference.? Would the 33 look better? I also stumbled across a site that explains the offset and back spacing really well. (for those that are less familar with it)

Well you will love the tires. Here is how the 275/55R20 with a 2.5" level. How they fill the wheel well in height and width

The 60's should fit. If you can have them test fit it. I was showing how mine for and how the width was in the fender

I read alot of good reviews on the ht plus tires. Some guys are claiming 60 k no problem I even saw one person say they got 90k on a set. I Was surprised at how reasonable the price was on them, 200.00 a tire not to bad for 20's. I believe the total price for rims and tires is 2500.00 with tax and wheel sensors. I'm hoping to recoup some cash out of my stock wheels. They have 6000 k on them and were never run in the winter. I thinking off listing them at a1000 for the set.

I don't see me getting that much out of mine. I like to slide the rear out

I wasnt sure what they would be worth. I have seen them advertised for anywhere between 600 to 1200. In northern BC most everyone runs a second set of wheels for the winters we have (mandatory to have a straight winter tire for highway travel). I should have no problem selling them for a fair price.
