What George Clooney said about Heaston

I was watching the news and heard some disturbing news about George Clooney. He attacked Charlton Heston.

Clooney Said:  "Charlton Heston announced again today that he has Alzheimer's".  When asked by a reporter if he went too far with his comment he replied, "I don't care. Cahrlton Heston is the head of the National Rifle Association. he deserves whatever anyone says about him."

I have been a Heston fan since I was a child and a NRA member for 6 years. Heston is a great actor and wonderful man. Clooney could only dream of the kind of career Heston has had. I have lost all respect for Clooney and he will NEVER get another dollar of my money.

I hope Clooney will feel the effects of his comments.

I've never been a huge fan of Heston's films, but I lked some.  I liked some Clooney movies too, but that was WAY OUT OF LINE.  The joke was one thing, you hear the same kind of jokes on Leno and Letterman, etc all the time, but the comment made afterwards is ridiculous.

That was just wrong.

George Looney seems to be Ok with guns if he is making a movie and Mega Dollars. Some of the movies I've seen that he stared in are very graphic and bloody, "Dusk till Dawn"

"Oceans Eleven". He is a hypocrite and will get not a penny from me in the future.

Tim,you hit the nail on the head and sadly that's the way the vast majority of Hollywood thinks. For some reason they adopt the "I know what's better for you than you possibly can because I'm on film" and nothing could be further from the truth because the silver screen has more than it's fair share of morons.

I can only wonder how the Hollywood Left would have felt if similar remrks were made about the liberal representive (his name escapes me) who died in the plane crash just before the November elections.

I guees that since they don't feel like being sensitive toward all others now that I can take a small shot:

Hopefully we can get Clooney,Mark Wahlberg,Babs Streisand and many others to volunteer for this job and be done with them.

It amazes me how actors are all the sudden political experts and that their opinions are the only valid ones.   :fume:

I have a suggestion if your an actor, do your job and act!  Don't ram your political views down everyone's throats!  Problem is, many out their are naive and impressionable and look towards their favorite stars as role models.  Hence, what George Looney says, all his worshippers think.   :wtf:

Clooney's just another Hollywood liberal elitist.  They're a dime a dozen.  He's a career pretty-boy idiot who won't appear on a talk show or venue where he might have to defend his views against someone with any real intellectual ability-just like Hillary Clinton or Streisand etc.

Heston is 10 times the man and 10 times the actor Clooney will ever be.

Well said Hillhound.  I am definitely(sp?) going to have to hire you as my firey right-wing campaign speech writer...lol

And once again, these liberal a$$holes can have my guns when they pry them from my ice-cold-bloody hands... :fume:  :wtf:

I dont pay much attention to what those Follywood Freaks have to say. They seem to have alot to say about the real world they do not live in. I just smile when they dog the military. That means I and millions of other brother and sister sailors, marines, airmen, and soilders are doing a good job supporting and defending their constitutional right to free speech.

:wtf:

It blows me away that these people actually think that their opinion matters! :wtf:

The fact that you are a good talent in no way indicates that you have any expertise regarding a topic.  Personally, I can be entertained by a dancing chicken for hours, does that mean his economic policy recommendations are valuable???  A monkey with an organ grinder will get a beggar or circus side show quite a crowd, does that mean the monkey can bring us world peace, feed the poor, or fix the deficit?

The place actors/famous/rich people need to voice their opinions is with their MONEY, not their MOUTHS.

I swear, you must have telepathy! I was going to say nearly the same thing... No reason in repeating that so:  :wtf:

On a side note, the dancing chicken would be a heck of a lot more entertaining than what I came up with...  :fume:
