2012 Silverado Door Leak

Recommended Posts

Over the course of the winter I have really noticed that my driver side door lets in a heck of a lot of water and condensation. I commonly open my door to find the door jam and hinges covered in ice. I am just wondering if any of you have had this problem and if you have spoken to a dealer or fixed the problem yourself.

Thanks

Have you brought this to the attention of your dealer? Keep me posted and let me know when you have had a chance to take it in. Thank you.

I just spoke with my dealer regarding the situation... This is what they responded with...

"Hi Brian that is a common problem because of the way the door seal is.If you look at the roof seal you will notice it drains near your hinges,on a sunny day you will get some melting which will run down and freeze on the metal. So unfortunately there is no fix for it,other than that i hope your enjoying your truck anything in the future just let me know thank you"
