07 Suburban level ride quit working

Looks like the pump/ compressor went out on my 07 ltz 4x4 burb. From what I have seen the pumps are expensive but the install is easy.

 

Is there an aftermarket pump?

 

Can the install be done by myself?

 

Also, while I am changing the pump can I change the charcoal filter for the fuel tank while I'm in there?
