Torsion bars on my 00 2500

I have read several of the post regarding cranking up the torsion bars to get the truck to sit level.  It seems these post are regarding newer body style trucks.  I'm wondering if my truck has the same thing? I have a '00 2500 4x4 - old body style.  Also does anyone have any diagrams/pictures of where these are to crank up?

I believe as long as the truck is a 4x4 and has the independent front suspension you are good for some cranking.

Look under the truck and parallel to the frame rails.  You'll see a bar on each side of the truck that comes from the front suspension to a cross member near the rear of the cab.  At that cross member you will see a bolt hanging straight down.  Tighten that bolt for lift and loosen it for less lift.

An alignment would be recommended after the job is done...

I just cranked my bars the other day.  Excellent results for 5 minutes of work. The full write up is on my website listed below, as well as pictures.

I have to get the measurements from home and post them but I got just over an inch out of it.  It rides firmer but still completely acceptable.
