I know it was a German company. Your point? The shamwow guy said Germans make good stuff! It had the features I wanted at a decent price and that was that. I don't have any pics of the installation anymore, they're long gone. Too many computers ago and before photobucket existed.

Here are the pics of the install. I painted the interior and added new Coverking Neosupreme seat covers. If you look closely at the dash cubby hole on the right you will see where I installed my Video Bypass Switch. Also added 2'' Rough Country.

 

 

 

 

Painted the plastics around steering wheel Black and took the paint off off center.

Its one step below the Neoprene, which are suppose to be like wet suit material. But these are nice fit and look good. It had the grey and black to begin with so I left the back seat stock as I have a 6 yr old and hes gonna destroy it back there anyway.

I personally stay clear of kenwood.

 

You might want to change that practice. Kenwood has the best double din DVD/NAV units on the market.

I've had bad luck with the Pioneers, but I'd give a +1 vote to Sony or JVC. Straightforward install either way.

This Pioneer was plug n play and is lays flush against my dash, with a dozen or so color options. 7'' screen with backup camera. and gps and Pandora through Iphone (Bluetooth). Also has Mosfat amp built in.

OP good choice I'm running a premier (pioneer) double din also, it's been great! Nice buy
