My dad was given a bottle of diamond-kote from the dealer when he purchased his new truck. Is there anywhere on the internet to purchase this stuff or can I only get it from the dealer? or is it a waste of money and I should just use my meguirs gold wax?

Its just a bottle of regular synthetic wax, there are many better products out there. I use Zaino and meguiars personally. Mothers and Adams also make outstanding products. Zaino leans more towards the synthetically made products like sealants. Meguiars, Mothers and Adams have some very nice carnuba wax's. Meguiars ultimate series is my personal favorite because it's very easy to find and does a great job.

Unless your very good with a buffer i would just do it by hand. I've seen people annihilate their paint jobs because they had no clue how to use an orbital, especially on black.

The picture in my sig was my truck after I buffed it. I haven't seen it this shiny since it was new. I buffed it with a light rubbing compound and the power ball first and then buffed it with wizards paint sealant and then waxed it with an orbital buffer and mothers carnauba. Took 3 hours but it was worth it. That diamond-kote is expensive and wouldn't recommend anyone wasting money on it.
