What Size Tires Comparable to 33X13

Right now im running some tires that are 33x13'' tires. I want to switch to a MT tire and change brands. These are Falkens and I want some Nitto Trail Grapps. I was curious if I could go with a 34 or 35'' tall tire and if I go down in width?

 

I was thinking the 295/70/18's which are a 34.57x11.93. So they are over an inch skinnier and an inch and a half taller. Let me know if my thinking is correct if this wont work.

 

For reference, my truck is a 06 2500HD with 4'' lift on the front and 2'' in the rear. I would like the biggest tire that will fit. Thanks!

Something in the 0 to + 20 range. I ran pretty much the same size tire you currently have on aftermarket wheels on my 03 HD with just a crank. I did a little hammering in the fenders but they still rubbed a little every now and then, so I think with 4" of lift you can pull it off with minimal rubbing.

You think there is any way I can get a 35X12.50 on my truck?

Not much experience in 2500HD's, it should fit depending on wheel offset. Might rub at full lock

You could always have them test fitted when you go to buy. Then if tje 35's dont fit settle for the 33's

Ya only issue is that I buy online. Discount tire direct. So that really isnt possible. Thats the cheapest place I have found.

Ill try that. I tried with discount tire locally last time and they wouldnt compete with direct. Ill check other places.

Directs? Because mine told me they were different companies amd couldnt compete with direct. If it were the regular discount tire site they would.

Yeah. Discount were I'm at will compete with anyone's shipped price. I "wheel and deal", pun intended, anytime I buy wheels/ tires from them, which is more often than I'd like.
