He has the 6" BDS + 3" body lift, thought it would give you an idea of what your truck would look like if you decided to do a BL. :dunno:

I was posting as you were editing, I see we're on the same page now.

It looks great if you do it right. Look up the "cen cal" style trucks. They run those super wide wheels

Looks great man! I kind of dig those wheels too, but a wider wheel would really set it off IMO.

Yea I have been looking into body lifts thinking about a 3 inch BL keeping my wheels I just have a brand new truck idk the too much about the pros and cons of a body lift I really only need to lift the front so I thought about a leveling kit but it would lean.

I hear ya, only con of a BL is that it shows some frame. I have a 1.5" and don't think its all that noticeable, you would probably need a 3" to clear X12's and 35's though.

O no I'm not saying anything bad. I'm just saying I think the "cen cal" style with big lifts and super wide wheels looks great

I seen some BL's come with the gap covers but I am more worried about the the exhaust hanging lower since I have dual borla cat-backs and the front tow hooks since I have the Denali and the lower valence has that chrome piece on it

The exhaust is an easy fix. Most of us with body lifts have it dumped over the rear axle although the guy that did mine said he could just as easily rehang it if I wanted to keep em like I had em. Now the tow hooks I'm unsure about. My 1.5" body lift wasn't a problem with the hooks, in fact u can't even tell they've been moved. Now the 3" body lift for my body style says to cut the valence for them to fit so maybe its the same for your truck :dunno:

Yea just by looking at it if i lift the body 3 inches the tow hooks will need to come out or I'd have to cut the chrome bezel piece to make it fit and I dont think that would look too good. I just really want my wheels too work i dont want to go through all the hassle to return them Id rather fight with making them fit. I have to have it done right though my truck rides better than factory with my BDS lift imo even without the draftshaft installed yet. I want to do things right and not mess up my brand new denali. :help:

Trade your 35s for 33s and get a 1.5" BL. That should work just fine

Your exhaust can be modified/raised no problem, and the tow hooks are unbolted and flipped over then re bolted. I'd usually say run 33's too, however since you have 22's it will leave you hardly any sidewall on the tire IMO.

Im thinking I'll just go with a 3 inch body lift after I research them more and get gap guards or covers and some rear wheel well liners and try to modify the exhaust and just take the hooks of if i have too. But as for right now I will leave the factory tires on until I make a choice.

I decided to go with a 3 inch body lift from performance accessories with gap guards hopefully everything works out. I have a shop that can modify my exhaust and I will try to make the tow hooks work if not i will just remove them before I cut my valence. thanks for the help everyone.
