275/60/R20 Tires - Poll

Beginning the search for new tires.

 

These have made the short list. All sizes 275/60/R20 - 33"s - will be running on the White Diamond with 2.5" TGC Level.

 

Cooper Zeon LTZ

 

Nitto Terra Grappler

 

Toyo Open Country ATII

 

Pro Com All Terrain

 

Falken Rocky Mountain ATS or Falken Wildpeak AT - no knowledge of how these hold up.

 

Feel free to provide any info that you have from experience or pictures.

Any of those would be fine IMO, I've personally run Toyo's for the last few years and loved them.

I voted for the Toyos, because I really like how they look, and I've heard really good things about them. The cooper zeons would be my second choice, followed by the nittos.

I voted for the Coopers! I have them in the 275/60/20 size and will get them again when it's time. Got them for $850 mounted & balanced from a local dealer.

I would go with either the toyo or the cooper. I think the toyo is a slightly aggressive a/t if you are looking for off road traction, and the cooper is more of a sport type a/t. Don't think you could go wrong with either. I have yet to see the new toyos in person just going by the picks, and I have them on my short list when I get my new skins.

Looks like the Zeons are in the lead.

 

Now with the 2.5" level, need to decide how much rubber I need to fill the gap.

 

Thinking 275/60/20 may not be quite wide enough.

 

Would love some 33X12's if they fit. Anyone running 12" wides?

305/50/20 is a safe bet, plenty of leveled guys running this size.

Yeah I know that's my issue - I want a true 33" basically, but like the wider tires. A 275/60 is a 33" but its 10.83 wide, that's the reason behind the thoughts of fitting 305/55

None of the above... How was the short list determined? I would go with Michelin LTXs.
