Took my stock-down-to-the-air-filter 2013 Sierra Ext. Cab 4wd 6.2 truck, sittin' on them stock twankies, to the strip today.

65 degrees outside, a/c off, running 1/4 tank of E85, 2wd launch with traction control off, torqueing up the driveline before launch got me:

2.15 60', 9.59 @ 73.28 mph.

Did another run with an Auto 4wd launch, traction control off, holding brake and accelerator to the floor, thinking that would bring down the 60', alas, it did not. That run was:

2.21 60', 9.63 @ 73.16 mph.

I tried to weight the truck, but the scales were broke... Fairly consistent nonetheless. I need to personally manage GM's torque management system via a tune.

Sidenote, I did the ol' brake / accelerator to the floor deal the other day with traction control on and it put the accelerator back at idle after about a second. Big brother reminding us there's no need to have fun, lol.

I put a stop watch on my run at 0-60 compared to other 6.2's on video and my time is coming in at around 5.3 - 5.6 range and 5 of the other 6.2's a timed came in 6.0 and up. I know these are rough estimates and tricky to time 100% correct so can a few of you on here time yourself and give your results ? And is sub 6 seconds in our trucks considered good or just ok?
