I have been searching and really haven't ran into an aggressive offset for the 2014 silverado...I may find an answer from ya guys though! With the bumber being so squared off on the 14's you gotta watch what you put on now...so here is what I'm trying to figure out...I want to run 20x10 with the offset being -12..I'm planning to run 33x12.50 toyo open country...I am doing a 2" leveling kit. Does anyone know this will fit without rubbing issues?! I will trim the bottom guard if that's what it takes but I won't lift the truck anymore than 2"...I just want the deeper lip from the 20x10....thanks for all the info!!

I have Fuel 20" wheels and 34" Toyos, 2" leveling kit. No rubbing, and they don't stick out on the sides. I'm sorry but I don't know the offset on the wheels because the dealer put them on before purchase. It sounds like what you are describing will definitely work since you're only going with 33's and I'm running 34's. Good luck and enjoy your truck.

Yeah, I been doing a lil research and I think they will fit too, as long as I stick close to the factory offset.

thanks!

what is the factory offset?

I don't know..I had questioned a couple of rim dealers and someone from roughcountry and I wanted to run 33's on 20's with a 2" leveling kit. They recommend me to stay in the 15-25 offset wheels to make this fit.

so i have a question about offset i am getting a 20x9 fuel maverick rim with a 295/55/r20 setup the rim offset is =20mm for my 2014 double cab. My question is how the rim is going to look. Its hard to explain but some rims have their rim faces flush with the outter most part of the rim and some rims are set in a little. My psersonal prefferance is that the rim face sits in a little if that makes sense. So my question is if i run a +20 mm offset will the rim face sit in on the rim or be flush?

If you look at this setup the rim face is set in.

where this rim face is almost flush with the outtermost part of the rim

There is a guy on this forum (KUUG) running 20x9 at -12 offset with 305/55/20 (33x12.6) and even with a 1.5" body lift, he has some slight rubbing. I imagine a 20x10 with -12 would only be worse.

+20 offset is going to look almost flush with the outer ege. It may have a lip, but not much. Maybe .5" to .75" lip.

Definitely wont work with a negative offset and only a 2" level.

The only rub I get is when I'm in reverse turning and even that is so minimal its hardly worth mentioning.

I've been recommending for people to try a 0 offset. I haven't got any feedback on this yet.

Here is more info on my process:

I have 295/60r20 with a +25 offset and 2.5 rc level. No rub, no trimming.

Thanks for that info, I've been wondering about that. I've been debating a +18 with that tire size

good info and pic. thanks.

got a leveled 2015 silverado 1500 with the same tires. getting Fuel Couplers 20x9 and trying to decide btw 1 and 20 offset. If yours is about flush with a +14 offset, a +1 offset should stick out about a half inch. thats what I want. looks good, man. thanks again.

Before selecting your wheel, should always check with manufacturer specs as to what it will allow for and guarantee for backspacing. Someone with a 2 inch level may be able to run a -12 but another kit will not.

This chart converts backspacing amounts to offset for ease: http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-forums/attachments/maxwheeloffsetchartbycodygcarson-jpg.243933/

You can go outside what the manufacturer guarantees but you will not know about rubbing or if trimming is needed unless you actually test fit it or the installer has done that specific set up before. If you are going outside that range with an offset, custom or otherwise best to call around and see who has physically done it with that specific setup.
