License Plate Mounts

Hello Everyone,

I've been searching the net and going through some message boards looking for information dealing with License Plate Mounts.  Specifically, does anyone know of any hardware/etc that you can use for mounting license plates on the front of a vehicle that you do not want to have holes drilled into the fascia?  I recently purchased a blazer and had the front moldings replaced and I would rather not have holes drilled in it but I live in a state that requires front license plates.  I am also going to be purchasing a Silverado SS and will more than likely run into the same issue there from what I can tell from the pictures.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Robert

make ya a mount that attachs to the grill shell at an angle... it won't hurt cooling enough to ever notice...

alot of show trucks do this in states that require front plates

You might be able to make a bracket that slips between the bumper and airdam and is held in place with the rivet-type things that hold the airdam on, or attach it to something else behind the bumper.

Just an idea.  Good luck.

Yee haw, two words: Bailing wire, now that looks classy :smash:  :smash:  :flag:  :flag:  :flag: j/k

I have no real ideas, except I know some people who have corvettes, and mustangs, have their license plate on the dash where you can see it thorugh the windshield, I don't know how legal it is, but it is a temporary fix until you get what you want.

Good Luck,

My grille guard has "L" shaped brackets that secure it between the bumper and grille area.  You may be able to rig up something like that and then bolt it behind the bumper.
