Wanted: GMT900 Tailgate Bowtie

I'm looking to buy the tailgate bowtie. Mine is starting to flake at the edges on the gold. I'm planning to paint it, and wanted one to modify before taking the one I have off. Let me know if you have one and the price shipped to Wichita, KS. Thanks for looking.

I agree with Lee that a salvage yard would probably be the way to go. Chevymall.com has new in black or chrome but they seem a little pricey at about $50.

I've checked the local salvage yards but unfortunately they don't have any of the newer Chevy vehicles in. Sadly the last year and a half when I've done a few of the mods to the truck they haven't had anything in of the GMT900's.

I have a brand new one, never installed I got from my dealer. It was a replacement for mine because the original one was peeling. I ask ask my dealer to leave it off because I like the look better without it.
