Damn RAZR MAXX has no 4G now!

So about the last 3 weeks Ive noticed I dont have much if any 4G service on this phone. Only times Ive had it were in DC and then when I went to the VZW store to tell them what was wrong, and ironically, they cant really do anything when it works in the store. The guy changed the setting from Global to LTE/CDMA but didn't do a damn thing, cause as soon as I walked out the door it kicked back to 3G. I would use my upgrade, but I stole someone elses upgrade on our business plan so we need this one as a backup.

 

Ive also thought insurance claim, but if I can fix it somehow without spending money Im fine with that too.

 

Sooo, does anyone have a idea what got messed up? Thanks

When my RAZR Maxx lost 4g I was in a poor service area

I have never lost 4G until now, unless I was in my basement, and that was only occasionaly. Or if I was back in the cut hunting. But there is definently something wrong, not sure if maybe the SIM card can go bad or not, or whatever controls the 4G

Razr Maxx is only available from Verizon in the States

I usually have no problems unless in an rural area. Other than that, I'm sitting at 4G right now on my Maxx

Just see if a store will swap out sim cards for you. Sometimes sims go bad and don't like to pick up the 4G.

Verizon started using sim cards with 4g. My RAZR Maxx had one as does my Galaxy S4

Mine has a SIM as well.

VZW uses one for the 4GLTE technology.
