Servicing question

My 05 Silverado 2500HD with the 6.0l has 172,000 miles. I'm changing the oil here soon and I already got the oil and filter. I thought it might be a good idea to just go ahead and get some new spark plugs. What kind of spark plugs do you guys use for the 6.0l LQ4?

OEM iridiums. 126000 miles and have yet to bother to change them in my 05s LQ4 anyway. Its the strongest power wise internally stock LQ4 I have ever driven and I want to see how long they last lol.

I used the OEM iridiums in my 5.3. Don't forget to change the wires too, they do make a difference.

Do you guys know what the torque spec is for the spark plugs?

Should be 11 lb ft

I've been told 11-14, I do 11 ft*lb. I use anti-seize on the threads and dielectric grease on the wires.
