should I or shouldn't I

If anyone remembers, I have a powder-coat black light bar holding my KCs. I just found a place in Boulder today that would spray my light bar with Line-x bed-liner.  Anyone know if that's the stuff I can get colored to match my truck?  Anyone think it's a good idea or bad idea?  Let me know.  I'm also interested in getting the underside of my hard tonneau sprayed since it is that ugly fiberglass white.  Any opinions would be great.

Line-X will add color to its coating, but I would think it would be pretty hard to keep clean with the textured surface.  If the powder coat on the bar is not in the best of shape, you could always strip it off and have it re-coated in just about any color you want.

I alos have a hard tonneau cap and I was just thinking about using one of the brush-on liners you find at parts stores.  You can always prep the inside surface and shoot it with auto paint in your choice of color.

I would stick with the powdercaoting on the light bar.  Like was mentioned earlier, you can have almost any color of powder coating applied to the bar.

The one fear I would have about spraying the underside of the hard cover with a bedliner is the extra weight may be more than the lift supports can handle.  I bet it would add 50 lbs or more to the cover.

I think I would get some of the felt-like indoor/outdoor carpet and some carpet glue and put a piece of that under there...  :uhoh:
